Who Are We?
Who would think that simple 'kopi-talks' would materialize to a real partnership? The co-founders have always questioned one-another "Why is it so difficult to find a COMPLETE composite provider locally?" as Singapore is known to have some of the most advanced R&D and high-technology companies, yet there are not many providers in advanced materials and composite technology.
The dream of benefitting local-markets with Composite Materials had motivated Textile Solutions in keeping herself at the forefront for Composite Preforming Technologies. Those early days when a handful of local providers were only capable of fabricating composite prototypes have evolved to producing Engineering Preforming; Engineering Braided Sleeves and Engineering Woven Fabrics, all, Made-in-Singapore by Textile Solutions.
Since 2019, Textile Solutions had grown in many aspects. Started-off with just a Braiding Machine in a 690 square-feet space, we have now encompassed ourselves with capabilities such as Weaving, Embroidery, Composite Fabrication/Repair, CAE Simulation, CNC 3-Axis cutting, Structural Testing, Engineering Consultancy as well as Braiding, all housed in a 1711 square-feet space locally!
Textile Solutions will continue to strive in going above and beyond to provide high quality, turnkey engineering solutions for our local needs; to promote and encourage the use of advanced materials and composite technology in Singapore!

Meet Our Founders
Mr Adrian lee
Mr ADRIAN LEE is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Textile Solutions. He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Class Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering in 2007 and was on the Dean’s List for all four years in University.
He began his career as an Engineer at DSO National Laboratories, Singapore in 2007. In 2012, Adrian joined UTC Aerospace Systems as a Senior Engineer, leading a team of engineers and responsible for Bombardier CSeries and Mitsubishi Regional Jets Fan-Cowl projects. In 2013, he re-joined DSO National Laboratories as a Senior Engineer.
With his passion and drive in engineering composite technology, Adrian co-founded Textile Solutions in 2019. Leveraging on his technical experience and know-how he played a significant role in developing the core capabilities of Textile Solutions, which includes braiding, weaving and embroidery. Aligning with the government’s push for Industry 4.0, Adrian propelled Textile Solutions to be the first company to make braiding and weaving commercially available in Singapore.
With his continuous pursuit of innovation and novel uses for engineering yarns, Adrian’s goal for Textile Solutions is not only to meet the demands for the Precision Engineering Industry Transformation Map, but to go above and beyond in supporting sectors that require advanced materials, smart sensors, and composite technology.
Ms Janice lam
Ms JANICE LAM is the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of Textile Solutions. She graduated with a Diploma in Mechatronics from Temasek Polytechnic in 2013. She began her career as an Assistant Engineer at DSO National Laboratories, Singapore (DSO) in 2013. In 2017, she was promoted to Senior Assistant Engineer.
For her outstanding performance and innovation in her field of work, Janice was awarded with various accolades such as the DSO Innovation Award (2019), DSO Divisional Innovation Award (2013) as well as the DSO Scholarship.
Janice is a pioneer in the engineering textile preforming scene in Singapore. Her passion in advancing the development and growth of the Engineering Textile Preform sector led to her co-founding Textile Solutions. Drawing on her wealth of knowledge and expertise in braiding, she played a vital role in the development of Textile Solutions’ in-house tri-axial braiding capabilities. Under her guidance and with her in-depth technical know-how, Textile Solutions is also the first company in Singapore to successfully embed fibre optic sensors into composite laminates.
With her strong belief in innovation and pushing boundaries, Janice embraces the government’s push for Industry 4.0 and aims to put Textile Solutions at the forefront of the Precision Engineering Industry not only in Singapore and but abroad as well.
